Bologna Walking Tour

The learned, the fat and the red.
We will discover these and other nicknames in a walking tour of about two hours visiting the historic center and its unique monuments. We will start with a visit to the Fountain of Neptune, Piazza Maggiore and the buildings that overlook it, like the current City Hall and the Palazzo del Podestà, the Basilica of San Petronio (with entrance) and the Archiginnasio, the first unified headquarters of the University of Bologna, the oldest in the western world. We will continue talking about the city of food, visiting the ancient medieval market called "quadrilateral" full of smells and colours and we will end in front of the two towers, built at the beginning of the 12th century, one of the symbols of the city.
Let me suggest a good restaurant for you at the end of the tour!
