Petra and Wadi Rum 2 days from Eilat

Petra and Wadi Rum 2 days from Eilat

Petra is the most famous tourist site in Jordan today. Becoming one of the seven wonders of the world made Petra known to the world and a most desired place to visit. Petra was once occupied by the Nabateans, most everything in Petra was constrcted by them. Tour Petra to see over 800 objects including the famous Treasury, temples, mourning houses, caves, and much more. The facades were built with the Roman detail, and the tomb fronts are from the Syrian. The tombs themselves are from the Greco Roman and the Nabateans.

Wadi Rum is everything you’d expect of a quintessential desert: it is extreme in summer heat and winter cold; it is violent and moody as the sun slices through chiseled siqs (canyons) at dawn or melts the division between rock and sand at dusk; it is exacting on the Bedouin who live in it and vengeful on those who ignore its dangers. For most visitors, it can be an unforgettable way of stripping the soul back to basics.
