The island of Milos is famous for its natural beauty, the statue of Venus and its mining. There are many interesting geological sites due to its volcanism, you can swim at the most scenic beaches of Greece and you will discover the geological history of Milos with the experienced guide Tobias Schorr.
1. Arrival at Milos MLO airport. You can fly to Athens and take an airplane or ferry to Milos island. It is possible also to combine the journey with a stay in Athens.
Jeep safari to the abandoned sulphur mine and a drive to the center of an old volcanic crater. At the fumaroles of Kalamos, you will understand, that the Milos volcano is still active. Time for swimming at Ahivadolimni. Dinner in one of the taverns in Adamas.
Jeep safari to the western parts of Milos island. We will drive through an lonely landscape with old volcanoes. There are some nice sites to take photos and to discover minerals. The highlight is the old mine Vani. Time for swimming in at the bay of Angathia. Dinner in Adamas.
Drive to Phylakopi with its prehistoric site. Hiking along the scenic north coast with the famous Sarakinico bay. Return to Adamas. Dinner in Adamas.
Sailing around the island with great views on the scenic coast rocks of many colours.
Drive to Plaka and visit of the local, archaeological museum. Hike to the ancient theatre and to the prehistoric obsidian mines. Return to Adamas. Dinner in Adamas town.

Transfer to the airport of Milos or the harbour.
This tour is a combination of hiking and round tours by bus / 4x4 Jeeps. A good condition for hiking is needed.
