3 Best days Marrakech Desert Tour Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

The tour with Your Morocco Holidays starting today and our tour driver will meet you either in Marrakech airport or you riad/ Hotel in order to start the 3 Days of the tour. We will pass via the mountains of the high Atlas, and beautiful landscapes before reaching Ait Ben Haddou to take lunch there. After lunch, there will be a visit over this famous Pasha Glaoui Kasbah which was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list, to take photos and learn a little bit about its history. We will then get to Ouarzazate to see Taourirt Kasbah, and the Atlas studios, before continuing to Dades Valley which due to its rock formations was labelled “Monkey Toes”, to spend an overnight there.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

After taking your morning breakfast, we will pass via Tinejdad, Tinghir, to reach the river canyons of Todra Gorges for having a walk over the place; these Gorges are wonderfully constructed limestone river canyons to walk between them, and enjoy the water breeze out there. After that, we will take a ride over the Sahara desert villages, and landscapes visiting Tinghir, Tinejdad, and Erfoud to take the Berber pizza for lunch. After lunch, we are going to continue to reach Merzouga desert, where we will switch from the 4×4 to camel trek toward the camp of Erg Chebbi for an enjoyable night spending in the Berber tents.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate -High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

You will be astonished by the beautiful view of the sun rising over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will depart at an early hour to Merzouga hotel to take a shower and get ready to get back to Marrakech. We will pass by Ouarzazate, and the mountains of the High Atlas toward Marrakech. In our arrival to the red city, the driver will pick you either to the airport or riad / Hotel.
