The Tour Of Mt Toubkal in Morocco - 7 Days

The Toubkal is located in the High Atlas which is also called Adrar N'Derne, meaning "mountain of mountains", rises to 4,168 meters, is the highest peak of North Africa.
Despite the proximity of Marrakech, its population, the Chleuh, great Berber tribe, has preserved its traditions and beautiful landscapes intact.

Day (1)
Transfer to the starting point of the trekking: Imi n'Oughlade (1h30 from Marrakech) Meeting with muleteers.
Departure to the village Id Aissa.
We take a path through a forest of oaks and juniper trees to reach the Tacht pass where we will have lunch.
Nice descent to the Tizian valley where we will have lunch with a sublime view of this valley.
We will continue our descent by following a track to the bottom of the valley of Tizi Oussem. 7 hours of walking.
Dinner and overnight in Tamsoult bivouac.

Day (2)
Breakfast.
We will go to the climb by the waterfalls passing by the Aghelzim pass, where we will stop to have lunch.
We will start again, taking a nice winding trail to the Neltner Hut at the foot of Mount Toubkal. 3200 m. 7 hours of walking.
Dinner and overnight in bivouac.

Day (3)
Climb Mount Toubkal at 4.167 m, magical place where we will have our lunch.
Descent at the foot of Ouanoums Pass 3,500 m. 7 hours of walking.
Dinner and overnight in bivouac.

Day (4)
Ascent of the Ouanoums pass 3,500 m.
After a good lunch, go down to the lake of Ifni at 2000 m. 6 hours of walking.
Dinner and overnight in tents at the lake.

Day (5)
After a hearty breakfast we leave towards the beautiful valley of Amsouzarte. 5 hours of walking.
Lunch, dinner and overnight in the village in a cottage.

Day (6)
Ascent of Aourai pass at 3500 m altitude to take our lunch.
Descent to the river and to the sheepfolds of Lekem't at 2,200m. 7 hours of walking.
Dinner and overnight in bivouac.

Day (7)
Climb Lekem't Pass at 3,550 m before descending to the village of Tachdirte. 6 hours of walking.
After lunch, return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
