From Kathmandu, the helicopter passes through Lukla- Namche Bazaar- Pheriche- Gorakshep- Everest Base Camp- Kala Patthar- Everest View hotel- Lukla-Kathmandu. Flying over these hamlets on the lap of Mt Everest, you will land at Lukla, Kala Patthar and finally at Everest View Hotel before the final landing at Kathmandu.

Here’s a detailed itinerary of Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing

Kathmandu (1400 meters) - Lukla (2800 meters)

We will take you up from your hotel at 6:00 in the morning to Tribhuvan International Airport. From there, you will board the helicopter which takes around 45 minutes to reach Lukla. Lukla is the first landing spot during this flight tour. You will stop here for 10-15 minutes for fueling.

Lukla (2800 meters) to Kala Patthar (5554 meters)

From Lukla, you will board the flight towards Kala Patthar. This scenic 25 minutes flight offers you the stunning eagle-eye views of Tengboche monastery, the Khumbu glacier, and the chain of Himalayas.

You will fly across Everest Base Camp and land for around 10-15 minutes at Kala Patthar. Depending on the weather condition, the duration of your landing at Kala Patthar may vary.

Kala Patthar (5554 meters) to Syangboche (Everest View Hotel) (3962 meters)

After the momentous time at Kala Patthar, you will again board the flight to fly towards Everest View Hotel. It is the lunch stop for the day after 12 minutes of flight.

At the hotel, you will enjoy the finest dining at the highest altitude in the world. You get to gulp every morsel with the infinitely stunning views of Everest and its neighboring peaks. After spending around 30 minutes for lunch, you will get inside the helicopter for the flight.

Syangboche (3962 meters) to Lukla (2800 meters) to Kathmandu (1400 meters)

From Syanboche, you will again land at Lukla for fueling and then take the flight back to Kathmandu. With this almost 1 hour 20 minutes fly back from Syangboche, you will get to bid farewell to the snowy peaks and the valleys below you.

Pick Up from the Airport and Transfer to Your Hotel in Kathmandu
