The Annapurna Circuit begins at Besisahar and usually ends at Nayapul, which will allow you to descend quickly to Pokhara afterwards. You’ll pass through sub-tropical forests and terraced farm land, enjoy your hike through thick rhododendron forests, and experience alpine regions at the peak of your altitude (about 5415m). This route provides an excellent window through which you can view diverse cultural aspects of Nepal. Spectacular, close-up views of soaring, ice-capped peaks, tumbling waterfalls, lush forests and craggy passes provide the backdrop for ancient walled villages.
